These are the five staples I bring along with me on any trip because a) It doesn’t take up much room and b) They’ll get you feeling and looking fresh cause you never know when you’ll be able to freshen up next.

1. Benefit’s Roller Lash Mascara- (You must get the travel size! )

Why the travel size? Because mascara can dry up fast, so if you DON’T use mascara often, I recommend getting the travel size so you can use it up fast AND it doesn’t take up much room in your bag. I don’t know about you, but I was born with Asian lashes, that’s right – short and not thick. This mascara solves both of those problems. It makes my eye lashes long, voluminous and gives it a little curl.

2. Moroccan Oil’s Dry Shampoo

What’s is a girl’s  number one biggest drab about traveling? Your hair feeling dirty, oily and flat when getting off an airplane. Introducing Moroccan Oil Dry Shampoo for DARK TONES! Yes, it’s true, my hair is jet black and this dry shampoo is a life saver for those post airplane moments. They make it in a travel size which fits nicely in your carry-on. Just spray, let it set for a couple minutes, brush and go!

3. Foreo Luna Go

The name says it all, when you’re on the go and those make-up wipes are just not cutting it, turn to your Luna Go. No purchasing and changing brush heads periodically (like the Clarisonic Mia, what a pain!). This are silicone bristles made to massage your face, take off white/black heads and dead skin cells to have your skin smooth as a baby’s bottom. Foreo knows what the modern woman needs, and it’s a travel size cleaning brush for your face when you’re on the Go (no pun intended). There are four different types of bristles for the four types of skin: pink = normal, blue = combination,  light aqua/teal = oily, purple = sensitive. I have it, love it and I’m not going back!

4. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm

I was so excited when I finally found a lip balm that doesn’t come on too bold for every day wear and STAYS ON! It keeps your lips moist and gives your face life. I have three out of the numerous colors it comes in. I opted for Elusive (light to medium pink), Enchanted (very nude), Standout (dark red) and Sultry (darker pink). They all aren’t too loud on my skintone (medium tan skin).

5. Mini Wet Brush

I have the large and mini version of this. So far, this has been the best brush I’ve found that doesn’t make pull on thin hair and seems to make my hair less oily when brushing. Only con I have with this brand is that the heads of the bristles will break off overtime and you will need to buy another one (if that sort of stuff bothers you). I currently have used mine over a year and less than ten of the bristle heads have broken off on the big brush. It doesn’t bother me, other than it feels a little rough with some of the bristles. I haven’t had any of the bristle heads break off on the mini version since I don’t tend to use it every day (only when I’m out for the night or traveling). I’ve linked the multi-pack for you since it’s a better deal, if you’re wanting back-ups.
